Work with us

Two Saints : a more fulfilling career

“I get real job satisfaction from helping people to gain independence and move in to their own flat. When I see someone’s delight at having a key to their own front door, possibly for the first time ever, nothing can beat that”

A career with Two Saints is a career with a difference. Working as an integral part of one of our teams, you will be supporting some of society's most vulnerable and excluded people to achieve their greatest wish - a home of their own.

We support colleagues with first class training, the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications and a supportive environment. Experience in supported housing is not essential - the ability to learn, to work non-judgmentally, a flexible attitude and a desire to help people resolve often complex problems, are key to what we seek in new staff.

Your Development

Once you have joined Two Saints you will have the chance to experience a wide variety of training and development opportunities. Our induction training day provides a comprehensive insight into Two Saints, and is backed up by an in-depth induction at your new work place.

Our core training and development programme covers topics such as Motivational Interviewing, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Emergency First Aid. Your line manager will support and advise you on the most appropriate training courses for your role from a range of more than 25 training courses and programmes.

Secondment roles are another way to broaden your knowledge of both Two Saints and supported housing, whilst there will be opportunities to work towards supervisory or management roles for anyone who has the potential.

"I'm loving every minute of it, it's honestly the best thing I've ever done. Although challenging, it's also rewarding because thanks to my colleagues I'm constantly learning skills that help vulnerable people" - Support Worker.

Equality & Diversity

Two Saints considers all forms of discrimination to be unacceptable in the workplace and is fully committed to providing equality of opportunity in all areas of employment and service delivery, including the recruitment, remuneration, training and advancement of staff and access to the full range of services provided by Two Saints for residents and clients.

Two Saints is committed to ensuring that no member of staff, or client, receives less favourable treatment or is discriminated against on grounds of gender, colour, marital status, race, nationality or ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability, age or membership or non-membership of a Trades Union.

We subscribe to the Disability Awareness Two Tick scheme and actively seek to employ and support people who have personally experienced homelessness and related issues. In addition, if you have been convicted of criminal offences in the past, this will not necessarily stop you gaining work with us. Of course we have to protect our vulnerable clients, but we try to take a common sense approach which evaluates risk and helps support people into work. We have an 'Employing Ex Offenders' policy available to view by clicking this link. Unlock is a charity that helps people with criminal convictions. Their guide can be found via this link.
